Warhammer Survivors status effects

Burning speeds enemies up; Poisoned slows them down. Stunned stops movement without stopping attacks. Use the differences below to judge whether a damaged enemy is actually safer to approach.

Damaged does not always mean safer

Burning

Damage
Fire damage over time
Movement
Enemies move faster

Leave more room for an approaching enemy even while it burns.

Poisoned

Damage
Poison damage over time
Movement
Enemies move slower

Use the slower approach to reposition; damage does not remove the threat.

Stunned

Movement stops temporarily. Attacks continue. Keep away from an active attack even when its owner cannot move.

Oiled

Nuln Oil slows affected enemies and increases their vulnerability to fire. Combine it with Burning damage rather than treating the oil as a damage effect by itself.

Healing

Health recovers over time. The effect can benefit champions and enemies, so watch who is regenerating.

Warded

Bell of Doom makes nearby Skaven tougher. The support enemy changes the durability of the group around it.

Burning versus Poisoned

Both deal damage over time, but their movement effects are opposite. Burning adds fire damage and accelerates the affected enemy. Poisoned adds poison damage and reduces speed. Burning can clear a group while making its approach more dangerous; Poisoned gives you more room to reposition.

Oiled pairs with fire

Nuln Oil causes Oiled. The effect slows enemies and increases incoming fire damage. Combine oil with a Burning weapon for the damage interaction. Because Burning itself increases speed, do not read the combined effects as a guarantee that every enemy becomes immobile.

Stunned is not disarmed

A Stunned enemy cannot move temporarily, but its attacks remain active. Ranged enemies can still be a threat while stationary. Suffocating Gravetide first stuns enemies it hits and then causes temporary fleeing; the fleeing behavior is a separate part of that pickup.

Healing and Warded

Healing regenerates health over time and can affect champions or enemies. Warded makes nearby Skaven tougher when Bell of Doom is active. A health recovery animation or a stationary support enemy can therefore matter more than another weak target.

Berserk depends on who receives it

Frenzon grants a champion Berserk and increases weapon attack frequency. Tyranid Synapse grants lesser bioforms Berserk with increased speed and damage. The earlier Frenzied description included damage, health and speed bonuses. Do not apply the champion pickup description to an enemy trait or assume all three names imply identical numerical buffs.
